Natalie Owen, Master's Level Intern
Addiction, Trauma, Anxiety, and Relationship Healing
Natalie believes in the human capacity to heal mind, body, and spirit. Her work is rooted in authenticity, compassion, and the power of safe, supportive relationships to transform pain into resilience. She is particularly drawn to working with individuals, couples, and families navigating addiction, codependency, trauma, and emotional disconnection. Whether you’re feeling stuck in old patterns or overwhelmed by anxiety, shame, or grief, you don’t have to face it alone. Healing begins in connection with yourself, with others, and with what matters most to you.
More about Natalie
Natalie’s approach is integrative and collaborative, with deep respect for the body’s wisdom and the brain’s ability to heal from trauma. She helps clients move from cycles of self-blame and disconnection toward clarity, self-trust, and empowered living. Sessions are paced with care, grounded in nervous-system regulation, and tailored to each client’s goals and values.
Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Natalie, her husband John, and their four daughters moved to the Atlanta area in 2018. She enjoys reading historical fiction and taking long walks with her Boykin Spaniel, Louie.
Background & Training
Natalie earned her B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Alabama. She is currently pursuing her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University with a specialization in General Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Theory in Addictive Behavior.
In Addition, Natalie begins EMDR basic training in February 2026 and will be in training and working with EMDR clients under supervision. She will be considered “EMDR Trained” in April 2026 upon completion of her training program.
