Antonio serves the LGBTQ+ community and welcomes clients of all backgrounds to his practice.

Antonio uses a relational, holistic, and scientific-based approach to support clients through the therapeutic process toward self-understanding and empowerment. This includes taking a deeper look at the client’s thoughts, feelings, actions, family dynamics, interpersonal relationships, and past experiences. He has received specialized training in CBT, DBT, and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), and utilizes Narrative, Family Systems, Psychodynamic, and Polyvagal Theory concepts to inform his interpretation of challenges brought forth by his clients and identify plans to overcome such.

Antonio believes in mutual collaboration between therapist and client to create a safe and dependable partnership that can provide clients with a solid foundation to make decisions and evaluate changes in their lives. He provides clients with time and space to reflect on issues and takes an active role in supporting his clients reach their goals.

Antonio was born in Mishawaka, IN and was raised in Costa Rica. He grew up there until he moved back to the U.S. for his undergraduate studies at University of Southern Indiana and Franklin College, where he graduated with his BA and became a four-year NCAA college athlete playing for the men’s soccer team.
