Robert Banks
Co-Founder | Chief Operating Officer
Robert Banks is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Therapeutic Recovery Network, where he leads organizational strategy, practice operations, and client intake services. Robert brings extensive experience in organizational management, strategic planning, and healthcare business development, helping ensure that the practice operates with strong systems, efficient workflows, and a client-centered approach to mental health and addiction recovery services.
Before joining Therapeutic Recovery Network full-time, Robert spent ten years as a Regional Sales Director for a large national healthcare company, where he led regional teams and developed strategic initiatives focused on helping individuals and families access healthcare services and treatment resources. Through this work, he gained significant experience guiding people through complex decision-making processes as they sought care, support, and life-changing treatment options.
More about Robert
Throughout his professional career, Robert has worked closely with clinical teams and healthcare professionals to support high-quality client care while building operational systems that allow organizations to function effectively and efficiently. In previous leadership roles, he managed large regional teams and coordinated operational protocols designed to improve service delivery, communication, and organizational performance.
At Therapeutic Recovery Network, Robert plays a central role in the day-to-day functioning of the practice. In many cases, he serves as the first point of contact for individuals and families seeking mental health counseling, addiction recovery support, or intervention services. Through these initial consultations, he helps prospective clients navigate available services, understand their options, and connect with the most appropriate therapist, intervention specialist, or treatment resource based on their needs.
In addition to client intake and consultation, Robert also serves as the practice manager, ensuring that all operational systems, policies, and administrative processes are in place so that the TRN clinical team can focus fully on providing effective therapy and recovery support.
Robert also oversees the design and atmosphere of the Therapeutic Recovery Network offices, believing that the physical environment plays an important role in the healing process. His attention to detail helps create a welcoming and comfortable setting where clients can feel safe, supported, and respected as they begin their journey toward wellness and recovery.
Professional Training
In 2021, Robert completed the ARISE® Comprehensive Care with Invitational Intervention® Training, a collaborative and family-centered intervention model designed to engage individuals struggling with addiction and behavioral health challenges. This training provides Robert with a strong understanding of family systems, the intervention process, and pathways to addiction and mental health treatment, which supports his non-clinical role in helping individuals and families navigate available services and connect with appropriate therapists, intervention specialists, and treatment providers.
Through this work, Robert helps guide prospective clients through the initial consultation and intake process, ensuring they are connected with the right level of care and professional support for their needs.
