Online Therapy & Telehealth Services

Therapeutic Recovery network offers online counseling for residents of Georgia & Michigan living in Cumming, Gainesville, Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, Macon, Augusta, Athens, Ann Arbor, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Flint and all areas in between for clients with concerns such as anxiety, trauma, stress, addiction, and overall mental wellness. We are accustomed to utilizing telehealth services as we work with individuals and families locally and nationally.

Telehealth is defined as the use of technology to provide remote therapy, counseling, and consulting. We have adapted our proven approach to a private and secure online platform, ensuring that you receive the highest level of care while still protecting your privacy through HIPAA compliant platforms. These services are ideal for existing clients who are looking to continue their work, or for new clients who would like additional support as we all adapt to the changes in our environments. Teletherapy is fully confidential, and research indicates that it can be just as effective as in-person sessions. To learn more about our telehealth services, please contact Therapeutic Recovery Network.

How it works

Video and phone sessions allow you to have a therapy session from the convenience of your home or other private place. Video counseling is therapy without dealing with long drives, traffic or taking time off of work. Phone sessions are available for your convenience. For online video sessions, we use Telehealth by Secure Video, which is a HIPPA compliant and secure Zoom platform. When you schedule your online therapy appointment, we will send you an invitation via email or text, which will allow you to save the appointment in your calendar.  Then, using your laptop, desktop, or an app on your phone, you can log in around the time of your appointment and we can see and hear each other through the secured video.

Benefits of Online Therapy

Online counseling in Georgia allows for clients to have their sessions in the comfort of their own home, or during lunch breaks at work through an app on their phone or through their laptop. There are many benefits to having your session through video or phone, but the greatest of these is convenience.  Access to an addiction and mental health specialist can be hard to find. In addition, online therapy allows for those that work or have kids to fit in sessions when they normally would not have the time or ability to make their appointment.
