Violet is a peer facilitator for our LGBTQIA+ support groups. She graduated from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario where she received a BAH in Philosophy with concentrations in Ethics and Education. Violet has experience applying her time being out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community to facilitate an LGBTQIA+ peer support group for her university, tutoring classmates, and giving talks on issues facing the LGBTQIA+ community.

Violet was born in Norfolk, Virginia and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. She moved to Brighton, Ontario to attend East Northumberland Secondary School and remained in Canada to further her education before returning to Cumming, Georgia to pursue her role with Therapeutic Pride Network. Violet enjoys baking, playing music on her bass guitar, and spending time with her two beloved nephews.
