Teen DBT Skills | Summer Group

This group provides a safe, supportive environment for teens ages 14-17. This group is a 8 week group that will meet every Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00pm starting May 30th until July 25th and we will have a break the week of July 4th. 

Cost of Group = $75 per group

Day / Time = Group will meet weekly on Thursdays 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic modality that has proven effective in managing intense emotions, reducing stress & self-harming behaviors while also improving communication in relationships. This group will focus on building the skills in each of the modules of DBT: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional regulation, Interpersonal effectiveness.

June 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th 

July 11th, 18th, 25th

Molly Muntifering completed her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Molly is an EMDR trained therapist and specializes in working with clients experiencing trauma, depression, grief, & substance use. Molly utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities including EMDR, CBT, DBT, Attachment-based therapy, somatic integration, and inner child work.

Heather McGinty received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University.  She has a passion for working with teens, adults, and couples helping them navigate the complexities of life. She has extensive training with middle - high school age youth. As a former athlete and coach, She is well versed in working with athletes and their needs.
