Lindsay is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (Georgia) and a nationally Certified ARISE® Interventionist (CAI). She is trained in EMDR and Flash technique, a new trauma protocol that can be used in critical incident crisis situations and with complex trauma. She also incorporates CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Creative Expressive Therapy, and solution-focused modalities. Lindsay specializes in anxiety, trauma, PTSD, addiction, LGBTQ+ issues, depression, and women's issues. Lindsay is Bilingual in Spanish and sees clients ages 16 and up.

Lindsay graduated with her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. She previously taught in the high school setting for ten years and received two bachelor’s degrees from Valdosta State University. She received a B.A. in Spanish and a B.S.Ed. in Foreign Language Ed. with a concentration in Spanish and courses in Women’s and gender studies. She is ESOL and Gifted certified. She studied abroad in Guadalajara, Mexico (2006) and Lima, Peru (2008). She began teaching in 2009 and left teaching in 2020 to pursue her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Lindsay is passionate about helping individuals, families and couples experience joy and discover hope in their personal lives. Thus, leading them on their journey to personal success. She is eager to help adolescents, young adults and parents navigate anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, trauma, grief, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ issues, minority issues, executive functioning, and academic related issues.
Lindsay provides a variety of different therapeutic approaches. She encourages her clients to take her on their “identity journey” on a path to self- discovery. She incorporates CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, Client-Focused, ACT, EMDR, Narrative Theory and others in her sessions. Lindsay is bilingual in English and Spanish languages, and she is a certified Legal and Medical Interpreter (UGA, 2014). Lindsay is also a certified Makeup Artist and enjoys creative individual expression.
She loves to travel and enjoys being outdoors in nature, especially the beach. She cheers for the Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta United FC and UGA! Her fondest memory is rescuing sea turtles with her family at Amelia Island, FL. She looks forward to welcoming you or your loved one to her office!
