Jacqueline RobertsMA, CCTP, APC


Jacqueline is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (APC) in the state of Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to making the decision to pursue a degree in the field of counseling, she earned a health coach certificate from Emory University in 2016 that allowed her to start her own business offering private health coaching sessions to a diverse range of clients. In 2019, she was presented with the Outstanding Graduate Award recognizing her scholastic achievement and commitment to her occupational field of study. In April of 2021, Jacqueline received the Distinguished Scholar Award by Southern New Hampshire University for having the highest GPA in her counseling degree program.

Jacqueline is passionate about working with adults, couples, young adults, and women facing diverse issues. She aims to make every effort to meet each client where they are as she creates a space for her clients to identify and understand their unique concerns through collaboration and building positive rapport on their journey to self-awareness. Jacqueline’s counseling approach is based on acceptance, safety, and nonjudgment. She believes that it is essential to establish a strong therapeutic relationship with the client constructed on empathy and positive regard to produce development, change, and empowerment.

In order to meet the individual needs of her clients, Jacqueline employs an integrative therapy approach using concepts and techniques that are grounded in a proven scientific foundation, such as cognitive behavioral therapy and Gottman Method Couples therapy. She is currently pursuing certification in the emotionally focused individual therapy and trauma level 1 training, as well as a 12-month training in the developmental model approach to expand her knowledge and proficiency with working with couples.  


Jacqueline was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She has moved more than 20 times in the last two decades and has lived in all regions of the United States. She currently resides in Cumming, GA. Jacqueline’s favorite pastime is spending quality time with her two daughters and grandson at the beach and watching classic movies.
